This just takes the cake for the most beautiful weather so far. It is always so dramatic from freezing to warm to overcast to blaring sun!  The weather in Indiana definitely keeps you on your toes.  These two are perfect!  One of the two, I won’t mention any names, was hesitant at first.  As you can tell he warmed up and did what it took to make this an awesome experience for all of us.

I can’t wait for their wedding next June.  I am sure it is going to be equally as fun!

I decided to blog this one even though I took it the most recent.  I will blog the rest because each one is special.

This family makes my heart happy.  I have had the opportunity to hear Effie express many times her love of being a mother.   It is heartwarming. I hear in her words so often how she has to trust in her Heavenly Father to make it through the very tough role of caring and nurturing her children.  She is so real and genuine in her true desire to be the best that she can be for her family.  She is very inspirational to me.

It reminds me of this song.

We are a drift on a sailboat my love is the sea

Yours is the horizon constant and steady…

Darling your love is healing

It makes the bittersweet

warms the winter to spring again…

Thank you so much for letting me spend a little time in your world.  I love it every time!

It wasn’t.  Kim and James had gotten married back in December but wanted to have the reception and pictures in the spring.

So out to County Line Orchard we went and it rained, and rained.  We had a few moments here and there but for the most part we took pictures in doorways and coverings and darted in and out of the cold.

But when I look through these pictures, I realized how much fun everyone was having even though there was no sunshine and it was cold and raining.  Because they were there to celebrate something more.  I feel like this was definitely a wedding where there were not a lot of posed shots and a lot of laughter.  I am so honored to have been a part of both days.

 

Here was one of those rare moments when James carried Kim out to the field so we could get in a few shots. I didn’t even know it was raining in most of the shots.  I decided to use a little light because of the dark day and the raindrops were captured so perfectly! We went in to the reception hall and snuck away and took a couple more pictures of the bride and groom which are always my favorite.And the fun continues…..
and continues…I could share so many of these dancing ones.  James really enjoyed the dance floor!

Can’t wait for their wedding in June! I just think it is going to be perfect!

The restaurant the bride and groom chose was the best I have ever eaten at.  I kept leaning over to Courtney saying “is it just me or is this the best food you have ever eaten?”  Not that I am a foodie or anything.

The bride and groom paid such wonderful care to their details and were surrouned by friends and family on their beautiful day.

It was full of love and such genuine affection!

 

The weather did cooperate with us for about an hour and we were able to go out in the courtyard and get some glorious sunshine.  I can’t wait for the weather to be more permanently bright and beautiful.

Well it was 19 degrees on the day of this wedding!  I thought it was going to be miserable…but it ended up being the most beautiful day ever!  All of my nerves went away when I saw the bride.  She was stunning.

 

The ceremony was so sweet…I love to see a groom so completely in love..

After the ceremony we headed over to County Line Orchard…and the couple was so brave and willing to go outside with me…The bridal party also braved the cold.  I was so proud that they were willing to do that for the couple!

But my favorite part of the day is taking pictures of the bride and groom.  The whole time the groom just kept repeating..”you are so beautiful!’ I had such a hard time deciding what pictures to put in because I was in love with each and everyone of them.

I have to say that it made me a little weepy..

And then after all this beauty…the party began!!!
